DoubleTree by Hilton Atlanta-Marietta Donates more than $250,000 of Furniture and Mattresses to Habitat for Humanity of Atlanta

DoubleTree by Hilton Atlanta-Marietta, part of the DoubleTree by Hilton fast-growing global portfolio of upscale, full-service hotels, donated more than $250,000 of furniture and mattresses to Habitat for Humanity of Atlanta this past week as they began an extensive renovation of their entire full-service hotel.

"Millard Fuller, founder of Habitat for Humanity, knew the importance of homeownership and how it makes a person feel.  Moving into your first home is a dream for everyone.  If we can help make a that dream come true for families in the Atlanta-Marietta area with furniture, tables, bed frames and mattresses, nothing would make the team at Doubletree Atlanta-Marietta happier," said Michael Eagan, general manager, DoubleTree by Hilton Atlanta-Marietta.

The DoubleTree Atlanta-Marietta has a consistent track record of volunteerism and service in the local Marietta community. As Partners in Education with the Cobb Chamber of Commerce, the team at DoubleTree Atlanta-Marietta has worked with the Brumby Elementary School STEM Program; Make a Wish Foundation Walk for Wishes, Cobb Thanks for Giving, Cobb Diaper Days and the Center for Children and Young Adults.
