Owned by MM Retail, LLC, the restaurant will be located at 12 Corvette Drive, next to Fast Stop Travel Center. A spring 2018 opening is being planned.
The new Steak 'n Shake will be one of the first to feature the chain's new restaurant design, reminiscent of their 1930s origin, with a more modern interior. Currently only one other Steak 'n Shake in Reno, NV, features this design.
MM Retail is owned by Fast Stop's parent company M&M Service Company.
The addition of the Steak 'n Shake restaurant will allow the company to expand the Fast Stop campus, as well as offer a new food option to travelers and local customers, in addition to fuel services.
