For 60 years, Pizza Inn has been the social center of the communities we serve. But as generations change, so have our guests' expectations.
A few years ago, we committed to updating the Pizza Inn experience to innovate enthusiastic engagement at America's Hometown Pizza Place.
We started by listening to our owner-operators and their guests. What we heard was reinforced by what we saw. Hometown Pizza Inns with an all-day buffet produced more revenue. And not just from the buffet. So, we rolled out extended buffet hours and partnered with operators who already had been working this way to guide owners who were newer to the practice.
We also looked at ways to serve families and individuals who craved that Pizza Inn flavor when, for whatever reason, they couldn't join us in the restaurant. We invested in new point of sale and online ordering systems to make the carryout visit as pleasant an experience as dining with us.
What most of our guests""and the experts in the restaurant industry""took greatest notice of was the restaurant interior. Pizza Inn is, and always will be, your Hometown Pizza Place. Guests will feel welcomed and at home as soon as they walk through our front door. We brightened the color palette and made the floorplan more efficient for operations.
With spaces that invite couples on a first date, family reunions, church groups, sports teams and even casual business meals, Pizza Inn has reinforced its position as America's Hometown Pizza Place.
And that's not all"
Pizza Inn franchisees who've invested in the refreshed remodeled design, have seen strong growth in their store sales, on average over 14%.*
