Company Overviews

About Merle Norman Cosmetics

Even before she opened her first studio in Santa Monica in 1931, Merle Norman's philosophy of "Try Before You Buy" was being carried out as she offered free samples of her products to neighbors, hoping they'd discover the benefits and return as paying customers. And return they did. Many even opened their own studios and the company now has studios throughout the United States and Canada. Carrying on the Merle Norman tradition, franchisees now offer skin care, from cleansers and toners to sun defense, and a full line of cosmetics.

About V's Barbershop

V's Barbershop is an authentic, old-time barbershop offering traditional barbering services in an upscale and uniquely masculine environment. Haircuts, old-fashioned straight-edge shaves, facials, and complimentary shoe shines. Our concept is simple: a real barbershop for real men. Remember the old-time barbershop where Dad took you when you were a kid? By now most of them have vanished. In today's age, men must choose between overpriced women's salons or low-cost, low-experience "chop shops". We've had thousands of guys tell us the same thing: "Until V's, there were no good choices." We've created a concept and an environment that men enjoy. From the real barber chairs to the hot lather old-fashioned shave and the relaxing massage you enjoy before you leave, V's has brought back the best of the old and set a new standard for men's barbershops. Financial Advantages: • Recession resistant industry • Continuous growth  • No matter what the economy looks like, hair keeps growing! • Consistent cash flow  • On average guys get a haircut every 4 weeks. It's predictable. • No waste  • Unlike a restaurant franchise, nothing spoils

The total investment necessary to begin operation of a V's Barbershop is between $192,700 and $423,100. This includes $22,500-$30,000 for the initial franchise fee that must be paid to the franchisor or its affiliate(s). You may but are not obligated to sign a multi-unit agreement with the farnchisor at the same time that you sign the franchise agreement. You will pay some or all of the Initial Franchise Fee for each location included with your Multi-Unit Agreement at the time that you sign the Multi-Unit Agreement. There is no minimum number of units that you are obligated to open pursuant to a Multi-Unit Agreement but if you agree to open at least 3 V's Barbershop locations, the initial franchise fee for each additional unit (not including the first unit) is reduced to $22,500.
