In June of 2003, the first Huey's 24/7 Diner opened in New Orleans. Our goal was to create a classic American diner experience with a focus on classic New Orleans dishes. Huey's soon became a huge hit in a very competitive market. In addition to offering traditional breakfast fare, Blue Plate Specials, and fresh salads, Huey's is known for its daily Chef Specials, New Orleans cuisine and fresh homemade desserts. Our design includes influences from the Art Deco period, with clean lines, soft lighting, mahogany-stained woods, and leather furniture accented by bright chrome. This timeless American decor complements Huey's New American cuisine while still retaining all of the great features of a familiar big-city diner. TARGET MARKET Our core target market consists of males and females from 18-35 years of age, and our wide target market caters to families. Huey's 24/7 Diner has great accord with upscale restaurants, retail centers, nightclubs and bars. Huey's also fits well into destinations with community centers, event centers, theme parks, and professional sporting facilities. FLEXIBILITY Our concept has the flexibility to afford each site the ability to develop its own unique design footprint. However, our traditional prototype seats 85 people inside and 25 people outside. SIZE * 2,500 to 4,500 square feet. * Adjacent outdoor patio areas no less than 1,000 square feet. DESIRABLE LOCATIONS * End cap or pad site locations of high-end strip centers * Center must have unique architectural features * Lifestyle centers * Traditional neighborhood developments
