The company was founded in the Chicago area and aims to teach adults how to prepare quick and healthy family meals in a fun and social environment. Participants choose the type of meal they want to produce and have their ingredients and recipes ready for them. At the end of their session they are able to take their meals home.
"Our business model is different from all others in the industry," says John Matthews, Dinner by Design President and CEO. "It's all about convenience and a healthy alternative for busy people, all for around $3 to $4 a serving, and less than many fast food options."
