This is a great time to appreciate the fact that we are part of something that is truly grand and unique, ACFN. In most industries as well as the majority of companies within the ATM industry, there is usually an accepted philosophy that the last quarter of the year is not a time to expect much business growth or to have much influence on decision makers. The old adage is that they are "too busy" with yearend accounting tasks, formulating new budgets, planning holiday parties, etc".the list goes on and on. We in the Marketing Department of ACFN would like to extend our gratitude to the folks in other companies who have adopted and adhere to this line of limited thinking. They have helped us by not taking up our potential clients" time and allowed our future clients to focus on us. It is literally amazing the amount of momentum we have going for us as the contracts have literally been pouring in throughout October and into November. We continue to have overwhelming success with our hotel campaign where we target large hotels that competitor ATMs in them. Some of these triumphs can be attributed to the synchronized effort between the franchisee and the Marketing Department, where strategic drops took place over a short period of time in a particular area with follow up calls being made in rapid succession. If you are interested in a hotel campaign being performed in your area of operation, please make sure to contact me directly and we will discuss a specific strategy.
Growing your business isn"t just a worthy goal; it's a necessity for your business's survival and your economic well-being. The ACFN Marketing team has been busy securing contracts from coast to coast (and Hawaii) at a record pace and we are going into the upcoming holiday season with enormous momentum. What you can and should do in the field is to keep your eyes and ears open for new opportunities to generate leads, drop new leads, and re-drop any leads you would like worked on that were last dropped over a year ago. Also, when dropping, be sure to take detailed notes and include those notes when you submit your drop sheets.
I"ll close with a quote from Benjamin Franklin: "Never confuse motion with action." Let's maximize our time and do what is necessary to finish strong these last two months of 2011 and move into 2012 full steam ahead!
