Mad Mex first opened its doors in Melbourne in 2009 on Chapel Street, Windsor, before local franchisee and Melbourne resident Brad McMaster opened the second restaurant in Melbourne Central in May 2011. In the past three months, a further two franchises in Southern Cross Lane and Southern Cross Station have opened due to popular demand for fresh, healthy and delicious Mexican food.
The new QV store will be the fifth Mad Mex restaurant franchise to open in Victoria, and the third in the portfolio of franchisee Brad McMaster, who is passionate about delivering an authentic Mexican experience.
"Melbournians have a great appreciation for good cuisine so the fresh, Baja-style food that we serve here at Mad Mex has been extremely well received - hence the opening of four new stores in the past 15 months," said McMaster.
