    The total investment necessary to begin operation of a Captain D’s franchise ranges from $1,005,600 to $1,223,600 for the current Captain D’s prototype restaurant. That includes an initial franchise fee that you must pay to the franchisor in the amount of $35,000. You must pay one-half of the initial franchise fee for each Captain D’s restaurant you plan to develop as a non-refundable development fee when you sign a development agreement with the franchisor. The development agreements require the development of at least one restaurant.

Opening Employees' Training Costs Our International Training Team will travel to your location and provide on-site training for non-management positions. Our training team will also implement in-house employee training programs. You are required to pay for this Training Team support. The major cost components are airfare, local transportation, accommodations, salaries and per diem expenses of the Training Team, and translator services if required. We will meet with you to discuss opening employee training costs after you successfully complete the Initial Inquiry Form portion of the application process.
