Prime Restaurants Appoints New Vice President Of Marketing

Nick Perpick, President and COO of Prime Restaurants Canada Inc., is pleased to announce the appointment of David Scapillati, as Vice President of Marketing with Prime Restaurants.

David will be responsible for the overall management of the Prime marketing department focusing on the development of some of Canada's leading casual dining brands, including East Side Mario's, Casey's Bar & Grill, RD's Ribs, The Esplanade Bier Markt and a family of premium Irish pubs.

Prior to joining Prime Restaurants, David was the Vice President Sales, Foodservice National Accounts, with Coca-Cola Bottling Company in Toronto. In this role, he was in charge of leading the company's strategic planning, marketing, budgeting, selling and pricing strategies for the foodservice channel of the business.

"Having spent nearly ten years with Coca-Cola, David has a solid grasp of the foodservice industry and knows what it takes to succeed in this business," said Perpick. "David also possesses the leadership skills that will allow him and the marketing team to take our brands to the next level." A Queen's University graduate, David began his career as an accountant after receiving his Chartered Accountant's designation in 1989. After spending time as a consultant with both Price Waterhouse and Arthur Andersen, he joined the Coca-Cola Beverages accounting team in 1994. In 1995, David successfully transitioned from finance to sales as a National Account Executive.
