Pathetic Medic Goes National
Can't stand that pathetic burn hole in your cars interior any longer? Call Pathetic Medic and have it dispatch a mobile unit to fix that unsightly car problem. For around $50 to $75 a certified "medic" will show up at your place of convenience and make everything from burn holes, leather scuffs, odor issues- even minor stone damage windshield problems disappear without the high expense of replacement. Says Jim Hess, founder and president of the Philadelphia suburb based company: "When a person looks at a burn hole or stone crack on their windshield, or a tear in their leather seat, they realistically see replacement cost in the hundreds of dollars. Our service van will come and fix that same damage at fraction of the cost of replacement and we make the damage virtually disappear." Pathetic Medic, a true play on words, certainly catches peoples attention. A clean white van with bold lettering which makes even the most introverted look twice. "The name truly is antithetical and gets attention. And you know our service has got to be good to brandish a trademark name as unique as this one." Jim states with a smile as he explains, "The name is so appropriate. When a car owner discovers that their previously unscathed interior now has this eyesore in the form of a tear, a burn hole, or a crack in their dash- well it makes you feel sick" it's pathetic." The results are anything but pathetic- which makes Hess's unforgettable business a big hit with car dealerships who count on his services to keep their "pre-owned cars" in tip-top shape. Launched from a restoration service Hess started as a teenager in 1984, Pathetic Medic is franchising with units planned throughout the United States and internationally. "The business has been so much more financially rewarding than I ever thought it would be" added Jim Hess. Franchises are available for $25,000 not including a fully equipped van, which costs $40k. Pathetic Medic is hosting its first franchise Open House Sunday, September 25 at 3:00 PM at The Inn at Chester Springs in Exton. International franchise experts Gerry Cook and Patrick Ludwick will be speaking on the successes of franchising. Admission is free. You can RSVP by calling: 610-764-5314.
