Boston's Restaurant & Sports Bar Introduces New Menu

Dallas-based Boston's Restaurant & Sports Bar (Boston's) today announced the nationwide rollout of a new menu at all 52 U.S. and Mexico locations. Boston's has expanded the "Healthy Hits" section of the menu, offering many new items for the health conscience, including Shrimp Diablo Pasta, Steak and Broccoli, Asian-Glazed Salmon and Margherita Flatbread. "We heard loud and clear from our guests that they wanted more healthy options. We know that more and more people are looking for healthier menu offerings in hopes of maintaining a more balanced diet," said Mike Best, Boston's chief operating officer. "With our ‘Healthy Hits' menu, guests can enjoy all the flavor of Boston's without the guilt they sometimes feel when dining out." Boston's introduces a new flatbread category to the overhauled menu. The new flatbread items, which feature Boston's signature pizza dough rolled out flat for a delicious and crispy twist, were widely popular during a limited time offer, and are expected to become a guest favorite. Flatbreads are available in Spicy Chicken Pesto, Extreme Mushroom, Four Cheese and Margherita.

Best known for its gourmet pizzas, Boston's has added two new pizza options to the expanded menu. Double Meat and Peppers includes sausage and meatballs with fresh roasted red onions and red and green peppers. The Zesty Italiano contains spicy Italian sausage and sliced pepperoni with fresh spinach, roasted garlic, banana peppers and mozzarella cheese. Both pizzas are available with a gluten-free crust.

The revamped menu also features new sandwich items, such as Chicken, Beef and Pork Sliders, Turkey Burger and Barbecue Pulled Pork. Additionally, Boston's expanded their dessert menu to include two new Petite Treats. The smaller desserts, Smashed Boston's Cream Pie and Strawberry Shortcake in a Cup, offer guests an opportunity to try something indulgent without going overboard. Boston's will continue to carry Gluten-Free Pizza on this new menu. In 2009, Boston's was one of the first casual dining concepts to nationally implement gluten-free crust. Boston's has received an out-pouring of positive feedback from guests who suffer with Celiac Disease or are gluten intolerant. "Food allergies pose a serious challenge for many Americans," said Bill Hancox, Boston's vice president of food services. "It is not easy to make gluten-free pizza dough, and gluten-free products are sometimes hard to find when dining out.
