ServiceMaster Selects Flintco as General Contractor for New Global Headquarters

Service Master Holdings, (NYSE:SERV), a leading provider of essential residential and commercial services, today announced the selection of Flintco LLC as general contractor for the renovation and construction of ServiceMaster's new global headquarters in downtown Memphis.

Flintco will provide general contracting and construction services, including estimating, procurement of subcontractors and diversity efforts, safety management and project management, management of daily activities for the build-out of the headquarters.

"We're pleased to be working with Flintco," said Terry Ingram, vice president of supply management for ServiceMaster. "We completed a very detailed bidding process, and Flintco demonstrated an exceptional record of success, true dedication to safety and an unwavering commitment to supplier and subcontractor diversity." ServiceMaster will occupy the former Peabody Place mall adjacent to the historic Peabody Hotel and join the revitalization of the city's downtown. Approximately 1,200 employees and contractors are expected to move in at the end of 2017.

The total project includes $35 million in renovations. ServiceMaster has committed to spending at least 20 percent of its cost with local minority- and women-owned businesses, but expects to exceed this goal. Flintco""well known for its work in Memphis and its diversity mentorships""will select and manage the various subcontractors as part of the build-out of ServiceMaster's new global headquarters.

Flintco Vice President and Area Manager, Tim Weatherford said, "Flintco is excited about partnering with ServiceMaster to help change the landscape of Downtown Memphis. The new headquarters is a great opportunity to showcase our ability to work with a global partner to create a facility that is unique to Memphis." The property is one of the portfolio properties of Belz Enterprises, a leading real estate developer and property management firm with more than 60 years of history in the greater Memphis area. Belz Enterprises is currently managing exterior renovations and interior updates to repurpose the four-level, 328,000-square-foot structure into Class A office space using as many LEED standards as possible.

Last December, Flintco was also named general contractor for ServiceMaster's new IT Innovation Center""located in the lower level of the new headquarters (former the location of a Tower Records store). The 20,000-square-foot collaborative workspace will serve as the hub for the company's efforts to transform the residential and commercial services industry; serve as an incubator for local entrepreneurs and IT developers; and will include rentable co-working space. Construction of the space is already underway and that space is expected to open in the second quarter of 2017.
